Project Overview

Description

HBM led Phase II Engineering Services for the Northbound & Reversible I-90/94 Mainline Bridge Deck Overlay & Joint Repair and Roadway Pavement Patching Project. The initiative rehabilitated 63 total bridge structures across three corridors (23 Inbound, 21 Reversible, 19 Outbound) between Ohio Street and the I-90/I-94 split, with project efforts totalling approximately $150 million. The project's engineering excellence was recognized with the Honor Award at the ACEC-IL 2026 Engineering Excellence Awards and a 2026 National Recognition Award from ACEC at the national gala in Washington, DC.
