- Comprehensive renovation of the existing four-story structure plus the addition of four new floors; approximately 15,700 square feet of dining halls, kitchens, chapels, residence rooms, and administrative areas
- Structural systems: four-story areas use a 12" hollow-core precast floor system supported by steel beams; one- and three-story sections use steel joists and a 5 1/2" composite concrete slab floor system
- Finite Element Modeling using SAP 2000 (beams and columns modeled as line elements, with a construction-stage frame to simulate stability)
- New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems; fire-rated stairway installed in the existing four-story building
