- Structure: 22 spans, overall length approximately 780'-6", out-to-out deck width 66'-0"; superstructure of reinforced concrete deck (8" plus 2" asphalt overlay) on rolled and built-up steel girders; substructure of a reinforced concrete west abutment and built-up steel bent caps and columns; concrete encasement at portions of girders, bent caps, and columns
- Three removal phases: Phase 1 (Stages I, II, partial III) Spans 1–5, portion of the west abutment, portions of Bents 1–4; Phase 2 (Stages III–VI) Spans 6–12, portions of Bents 5–11; Phase 3 (Stages VII–XI) Spans 13–22, portions of Bents 12–22
- Structural Analysis: non-linear finite element analysis (FEA) using CSI Bridge software (frame elements for steel columns/girders/stringers, shell elements for the concrete deck, 2-Joint Links for stringer connections); hand calculations using Mathcad
- Façade protection for the north building, including marble base preservation
